The Tuckahoe Common School District Educational Foundation

Mission Statement

The Tuckahoe Common School District Educational Foundation, a 501 c (3) not-for-profit organization, provides the Tuckahoe community at-large programs that extend beyond the provisions of a typical school system.  Our mission is to provide the planning and the funding that supports and enhances educational, social and artistic opportunities for our students and local residents, fulfilling a sense of community and lifelong learning among all stakeholders.

The Tuckahoe Common School District Educational Foundation will achieve its mission by directing support where appropriate toward the following objectives:

~ To provide funding in addition to traditional local, state, or federal sources by seeking and cultivating private and corporate funding.

~ To sponsor annual fundraising events which help fund programs that meet our objectives
(i.e. Sebonack Golf Outing; 5-K run, etc.).

~ To facilitate learner development through enhanced community-based educational and artistic activities and events developed to serve all ages representative within our community.

~ To extend the use of our facilities to community members who represent not-for-profit organizations.
